Dahye Jeong, the 33-year-old South Korean artist has won the LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize 2022 with her unique art piece called “A Time of Sincerity”. It was made of a handcrafted basket interlaced with brown horsehair by using the antique hat woven technique incorporated with the contemporary approach.

Not only the honorable award was presented by the House's creative director, @jonathan.anderson together with the actress Gong Hyo Jin @rovvxhyo who is also a brand ambassador, but they also attended the opening ceremony for the 30 finalists exhibition - finalists included 7 established South Korean artists. This competition marks another milestone for Loewe in supporting the value of the art, especially the craftsmanship of both the brand and South Korea.
